Cross-Border Vehicle Recovery from Albania

We handled a challenging case involving a vehicle seized by Albanian authorities. Due to language barriers, limited accessibility, and local procedural uncertainty, the prosecutor’s office initially agreed to release the vehicle only to the lessee — despite receiving all official powers of attorney via German police channels.

Thanks to our direct cooperation with the lessee, who personally confirmed the documents in Albania, we were able to take legal possession of the vehicle on behalf of the leasing company.

This case highlights the importance of flexibility and local collaboration in resolving complex international recoveries.
